Waterford offers a wonderful range of pubs. A favourite of locals and visitors alike Geoff’s café bar, in the city centre, is renowned for it’s great atmosphere, food and drink. The beer garden out the back is the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine on a hazy summers’ day while the fireplaces provide that extra cosy feel in the depths of winter.

Henry Downes

If looking for a more traditional experience pop in to Downes’ close to the western end of the quay. Perfect or a game of snooker while you sample their very own privately distilled and globally famous Irish Whiskey. If you are feeling slightly more energetic bring along your shorts and squash racquet to work up an appetite on their unique squash courts behind the pub. A strange but extremely popular addition to this homely pub.
