








Waterford, the oldest and fifth largest city in Ireland is a vibrant place with Viking roots. Based on the banks of the river Suir it is a perfect base for exploring the south east of Ireland.
Standing proudly on the Quay on the corner of Hanover street you will find the newly restored Granary building. The museum it contains exhibit’s thousands of Viking artefacts which tell of the rich heritage of the area.

Afterwards you can enjoy a nice meal in the adjoining restaurant, browse for presents in the gift shop and drop into the tourist office to plan where to go next.
